Snow!

Yes, we got snow in Fort Bragg! And, if you are from here or know of FB then you know it NEVER snows here...so for us this was such an exciting time. It didn't snow much..stuck for only just a few hours.
It was the first time for Conner in the snow. The day after it snowed we went up to our family cabin (snowed much more there) for the day so Conner could play :)
Great weekend overall...even if Mommy has been terribly sick and now dealing with an ear infection :(

Road Trip

A couple of weekends we decided to head to Santa Cruz and visit some of our friends for the weekend. We hadn't been on a long road trip with Conner since he was around 3 months old. He did great! The trip was, of course, a bit longer than it could have been...had to make a few stops a long the way so Conner could "relax" a bit (and, so Mommy and Daddy could free our ears from the bit of crying he was doing!).
It turned out to be such a beautiful weekend in Capitola. We hung out at the beach with our friends for the day on Saturday. Conner loved it! Especially when he decided to take a few bites out of the sand. Took it like a champ though. He also got to go into the Ocean for the second time. Again, just a stone face! We have a tough little man on our hands!!
We ended the day bbq'ing and enjoying time with our friends. Great weekend overall!!

Valentines Day Photo Shoot for Daddy

I decided to do something special for Sean (and boy was it tough keeping it a secret from him...being from such a small town, word gets around fast!) for V-day this year. Conner and I did a mini photo shoot with a local photographer, Chelsi McFadden! It turned out to be a beautiful day.
